If you have a cluster of GPU cards on a remote machine, you can use it to run Predict Engine. To enable the cluster mode, open the Preferences via the menu PredictSuite/Preferences..., section Engine Cluster.
Using a cluster of GPU requires a license with a minimum edition : Enterprise.
To start the remote server, you must fill in the IP address, the User name and the Password associated with your session. You can then click on "Connect to server", the state of the server will be displayed bellow.
Once the server is started and the connection is ready, you need to launch the nodes you will use for the rendering. You can define the number of nodes you need and select "Launch nodes", the state of the nodes will be displayed bellow.
Once the nodes are ready, the assets relative to your project must be synchronized on the remote server. You can select "Auto" to synchronize all the assets from your project automatically on the server, or you can select "Start/Stop Sync" to update them manually.
You can get an overview of the current synchronization by clicking on the "Show status" button.
Once the cluster is ready (connection ready, nodes initialized and assets synchronized), you can start Predict Engine on the cluster to take advantage of its computing power : enable the "Cluster enabled" toggle and use the Predict Unity interface as usual.
