Predict Lab is a software designed to analyse Predict Engine raw outputs. The different modules enable you to preview HDR data, access all the information contained in the EXR file, compare different zones of the simulation and analyse the impact of polarization.
The current Predict Lab window is only an Alpha version and will be improved in the future.
Predict Lab requires a license with a minimum edition : Enterprise.
Predict Lab modules are listed on the left part of the Lab window header. Some modules are only available if the current file contains the required data : for instance, the polarization module requires spectral data.
You can find three buttons on the right part of the Lab window header :
Open : open a new *.exr file,
Reload : reload the current *.exr file,
Save : depending on the current module, save the processed output or other informations.
Predict Engine simulations can be exported in two different formats (see the Outputs section for more details) :
Processed outputs can be saved in LDR (low dynamic range) images stored in a *.png file,
Raw outputs can be saved in HDR (high dynamic range) images stored in a *.exr file.
Predict Lab is designed to analyse raw outputs from Predict Engine only.
Predict Lab is mainly designed to analyse raw outputs from Predict Engine. It can also load exr files containing other data and the raw datas and file informations modules should work nicely with them, but be aware that it may lead to some errors in the other modules.
